Over the past couple of months, one thing I noticed when consulting with my clients is each one’s optimism, hope, and belief in better times ahead. With this enthusiasm and progressive thinking, my team and I are constantly rejuvenated to conceptualise something special, yet always functional and attuned to each clients’ needs.
With the end of the year quickly approaching, I would like to reflect and share our progress in a few amazing projects.
In the design phase, we are developing the 3D design of a residence in Bochum, Germany, and locally in Constantia, Makhado, and Blair Atholl. We are nearing client approval on a new alteration project in Sandhurst and our first project in Zululami Estate, and sharing M Square Lifestyle Design’s interior design development which has commenced on Stack’s Mountain Residence in Ireland, BNLNM in Copperleaf, and Residence Midstream.
The construction documentation is nearing completion on V Eco and Bay View Residence, while several projects, including Highcliff, Durbanville, and Elle Residence, are within various departments and levels of municipal submission.
The digital submission changeover controlled by local authorities has been a huge challenge, coupled with a pandemic fuelled delay, which drastically slowed down the approval process for a few of our clients. Singapore Residence has also been submitted to their local authorities with the first phase of the interior design complete, while House DHR in Lubumbashi is ready for occupation.
Project Rise, House De A, and Wonder are in the final stages of interior working drawings with first fix components in progress on site.
In Blue Hills Estate we have Starling and LATM Residence progressing well and Co Residence nearing completion. S Residence in Sandhurst is also approaching completion with the finalisation of the dramatic cladded façade.
All things considered, we enjoyed the wide variety of work produced this year, celebrating completed homes with photoshoots at Residence De S and Mooikloof Residence. The practice also featured in the CEO Magazine and eagerly awaits a possible feature in the Luxury Design for Living early in 2022.
To all our clients, I extend a heartful thank you for your valued support and enthusiasm throughout the year.
May each and every one of you experience a joyful and peaceful festive season with your families and friends.
Until we chat again in the new year.
