Nico van der Meulen Architects were approached to re-design the facades of the existing house, which was initially constructed in the early 2000s.

The brief emphasised the importance of adding solar control to the northern façade by means of roof overhangs and screens to ensure that all habitable spaces will be thermally comfortable throughout the year. Lightweight roof overhangs were tied with I-beams to the existing structure, resulting in a more contemporary and clean design aesthetic. Filigree screens were added to create layers of privacy in required areas.

Sterile exterior spaces were re-designed to be more inviting and practical.
M Square Lifestyle Design was approached to re-design the main entertainment spaces which contributed to the conversion of unused spaces into meaningful places.
