Habitable spaces are primarily oriented towards north and fully glazed to take full advantage of the surrounding mountain vistas.

The design consists of two principle elements; the light tectonic steel structure of the first storey that is tied back to the solid stereotomic base of the ground storey.

Aluminium fins were introduced to the facades for solar control and privacy. These fins provide a strong rhythm to the architectural design and to the interior spatial experience.

The threshold between interior and exterior is blurred at the main entertainment area by means of a large cavity sliding door which creates a seamless transition.
